Dec. 22

CLARKSTON — A dance featuring live music by the Heustis Kountry Band begins at 7 p.m. Dec. 22 at the Sixth Street Senior Center here.

Cost is $5, and the center is at 832 Sixth St.

Dec. 23

LEWISTON — Blue Healer will play live music beginning at 9 p.m. Dec. 23 at Canter’s Inn here. There is no charge, and Canter’s is at 416 Thain Road.

Dec. 23

LEWISTON — The Erik Bowen Trio will play jazz from 6 to 9 p.m. Dec. 23 at Lindsay Creek Vineyards here.

The trio includes David Bjur and Joe Covill, and Gary and Kathleen Gemberling will join them on stage. There is no charge, but wine and holiday hors d’oeuvres will be available for purchase.

Gary Gemberling is professor of music at Whitman College in Walla Walla and for many years was the band director and music teacher at Lewiston High School. Kathleen Gemberling is a vocalist.

Dec. 24

LEWISTON — An afternoon of ice skating with Santa Claus will begin at 1 p.m. Dec. 24 at the LC Ice Arena here, 1521 Sixth Ave. N.

In addition to a visit from the jolly elf, the event will feature treats and hot cocoa. Cost is $4 without skate rental and $7 with skate rental.

Dec. 27

LEWISTON — An evening of open mic performances begins at 8:30 p.m. Dec. 27 at Mystic Cafe here.

Performers can sign up for stage time beginning at 8 p.m. at the venue, 1303 Main St.
