The event will feature bagpipes, drums and dancing just outside the brewing company where the whole family can attend. It’s a casual atmosphere that will be made comfortable with tents and propane heaters, if needed. Guests 21 and older can gather inside the establishment where drinks will be available for purchase.
Besides music and brews, there’ll be food available for purchase, including the aforementioned haggiswurst presented by Hog Heaven Sausage Works. Haggis is featured prominently at the Border Highlanders’ spring event, so they brought their recipe to the sausage maker to see what could be done.
“He’s going to make his first-ever haggiswurst,” said Hunter, noting how it’s a play on the Scottish version of Oktoberfest.
And if that’s more Scotchtoberfest than you can handle, then you’ll be glad to know there will also be pizza.
