Moscow Community Theatre opens Inspecting Carol Friday at the Kenworthy Performing Arts Centre in Moscow.
The comedy by Daniel Sullivan follows the Soapbox Playhouse, a small theater company striving to maintain its funding amidst financial woes. As an inspector arrives for a grant assessment, the troupe is struggling with production problems and personality clashes while trying to produce its holiday show, A Christmas Carol. The play is co-directed by Gordon Mellot and Aubree Flanery and contains mild profanity.
Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Saturday, Nov. 4-5 and Nov. 11-12; and 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6 and Nov. 13 at the center at 508 S. Main St. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students and seniors and available at Safari Pearl in Moscow, at the door, and online at moscowcommunitytheatre.org.
