The songwriter is inspired by her travels and those she meets seekers, divine misfits, glorious places, forgotten corners, the remaining pockets of beauty left in the wake of mans progress.Background: Cruso grew up in New Yorks Hudson River Valley, a hot spot for the 70s Folk Revival. As a teen she attended the Hudson River Revival Festival and volunteered on the Clearwater, an historical replica of an 1800s sloop inspired by Pete Seeger and friends.
Unusual fact: The hammered dulcimer originated in Persia more than 2,000 years ago.
