Contest Rules: The 360s Readers’ Choice AwardsThe 360s Readers’ Choice Awards are designed to identify and celebrate the businesses, services, organizations and activities in the readership area of Inland 360 magazine (and inland360.com), which includes the Idaho counties of Nez Perce, Lewis, Latah, Clearwater and Idaho; and the Washington counties of Asotin, Garfield and Whitman.
Contest categories are at the sole discretion of the staff of Inland 360. Magazine readers are invited to suggest categories and nominate entries in selected categories by sending an email to email@example.com. Nominations may also be made on specific social media posts calling for nominations. Nomination periods for each category will be published and updated regularly in the print and online versions of the magazine. The Inland 360 staff reserves the right to limit or disallow nominations if they do not meet the definition or spirit of an individual category. The Inland 360 staff has final say on the ballot for each category.
A new category will be open for voting every other week at inland360.com, beginning on Saturday through the following Sunday.
Voting: Readers can vote once every 12 hours on each of their personal/private electronic devices (computer, laptop, mobile device, etc). Clearing of “cookies” to vote more than once per 12-hour period is not allowed. The staff at Inland 360 has access to voter IP addresses. To help ensure fairness, no more than 10 votes per IP address will be allowed per calendar day for an individual business, service or organization.
In the case of suspected fraudulent votes, reserved rights and possible actions may include, without limitation: utilization of methods necessary to determine the validity of votes; the removal of the category from the contest; disqualifying the fraudulent votes; disqualifying the recipient of the fraudulent votes in that category or any other; disqualifying that company from future contests for any period of time; and possible litigation. All Tribune Publishing Company decisions pertaining to suspected fraudulent votes are final.
The winner of each category will be the business, service, organization or activity receiving the highest number of votes. Winners will receive an award for display and be eligible to use The 360s Readers’ Choice Awards logo in future advertising with Tribune Publishing Company entities and other media. In addition to the category winner, additional top vote-getters (as determined by Inland 360 staff) in each category will be given a “finalist” title and be eligible to promote themselves as such.
A list of previous winners and upcoming categories will be available online at inland360.com, and regular updates will be featured in the print edition of Inland 360 magazine.
