The Kenworthy Performing Arts Centre (KPAC) has its origins in the silent movie/vaudeville tradition, from the 1920’s. The late Judd and his wife, Bethine and family donated the historic theatre to the Moscow Community in late 1999. A Board of Directors was established to keep the theatre maintained, establish new programming and celebrate our unique place on Main Street in Moscow.

We converted to digital projector in 2013, established a live stream from the Metropolitan Opera in New York City, to have our opera season here in Moscow, a similar arrangement stream movies from the National Theatre in London, and we are starting a youth program this summer to give children of all ages an opportunity to learn more about the performing arts.

My vote for best theatre in the region is the Kenworthy in Moscow.

I think the “Best of” contests should allow one vote per person, period. The vote every 12 hours, never worked in my case, and those with more than one device could easily stack the deck. I have 3, and never was I able to vote every 12 hours. Please consider going to a one vote per person format, for fairness sake. Thanks.
