Thanks for the note, Franke Druffle. We’ll consider Mandarine Pine Bar if we run a category for bar and happy hour in 2016.

How is it that last night the votes for some of the tattoo shops were much higher? I dont understand how they can lose votes?

      Hello Shawntell,
Long story short, votes that are made outside the rules of the contest are deleted each morning (or at other times during the day). The rules can be found here: http://inland360.com/tag/the-360s-contest-rules/
The rules state that no more than 10 votes per computer IP address per day will be allowed.
That allows for a person or family with multiple devises (computers, laptops, cell phones, tablets, etc.) to vote from each of them on a single wireless IP address every 12 hours, but not more than 10 votes per day for a single business will be allowed each day.
Yes, there were many votes deleted this morning. In one case, a user voted more than 250 times from a single computer, clearing “cookies” each time (which is against rules) and voting again and again from that same computer or wireless address.
The voting is not scientific, but the rules are designed to promote fair play and encourage votes from multiple sources.
      Hope this helps,
Craig Staszkow and the Inland 360 digital team

Why do the numbers not change after I vote ?

Hi Sharon … We see a total of 14 votes being cast from your IP address over the course of the contest, including one vote two minutes before we received this note. There may be a brief delay for the vote totals to update, but we believe things are working correctly. Thanks and keep voting for your favorite through Monday.

Next year we really should only have it one time from an IP address per competition. Actually have a fair and real number for who actually is voting. All the deleting of the cookies and up to ten times a day is not really accurate in my opinion. Should be one vote per person per competition to actually get your customers voting accurate. Just a thought Craig

Agreed, what a hinky way to determine popularity. You can vote 10 times per device. That’s accurate’ huh?

So I suppose when you own a chain of restaurants, with separate computers, and separate IP addresses all over the region… Voting stays pretty fair huh?

It is no surprise that all the restaurants ( Main Street Grill and Southway Pizzaria for example) that are owned by Happy Days down in Lewiston and Clarkston manage to do so well. All the Happy Days people got to do is send out a message to their eight locations to get as many votes as the want . . .

All hospitals, care facilities and workers deserve acknowledgement and credit for all that they do! I love and work for Tri-State Memorial Hospital! I’ve been here not only as a staff member for more than 2 years, but have also had family, friends and myself as patients and have been treated with respect and dignity all along. I was also asked by Inland 360 to have my art featured as their cover within the paper, which was such a fun experience! Even if TSMH does not win, I would love to work side by side again with inland in the future to represent my hospital at any time!

I don’t understand why Strolling Like A Mother isn’t on your best gym list. We workout at the Fit Pit in the winter when we can’t get outside and do many things the gyms on your list do. Please add them to your voting list.

Hello Inland 360, I was wanting to vote for my gym, V7 Martial Arts, in Moscow, ID, but it wasn’t listed in the options. This gym has amazing classes such as MMA Cardio, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Yoga, and more. Could it be added to the voting list? Thank you!
