From Alicia Keys to David Bowie, famous musicians will hit the stage Saturday for “Legends of Music,” the Lewiston Civic Theatre’s annual Fine Arts Ball fundraiser.
The show is one-of-a-kind in the Quad Cities, said event organizer Jennifer Menegas. “People who long for good family entertainment won’t want to miss this.”
Proceeds from this year’s ball will go toward replacing the theater’s roof, which is caving in and leaking, Menegas said.
Dinner tickets are $60 and include a meal, the show, dancing and a ticket for the theater’s coming season, to be announced Saturday. Dinner tickets are only available through 4 p.m. today. After that tickets are $30 for show and dancing and can be purchased in advance or at the door.
Performers include: Connie Evans (Cher), Jeanene Sanders (Etta James), Kass Wilponen (Pat Benatar), Olivia Kennedy (Bette Midler), Ethan Smith (Barry Manilow), T.J. Richardson (Elvis), Patricia Brinegar (Ann Wilson/Heart); Isaac Ryckegham and Becci Tank (Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion); Nichole Schmidt (Alicia Keys); Chad Bramlet (Garth Brooks); Allan Jones, Ben Bross and Dave Marran (Three Irish Tenors); Shania Rales ( K.D.
