“The World’s Strongest Librarian: A Memoir of Tourette’s, Faith, Strength and the Power of Family” is an exceptionally candid and entertaining biography by Josh Hanagarne. Standing 6 feet 7 inches tall, it goes without saying Josh does not fit your standard librarian stereotype. Add Tourette’s to his stature, and what you have is a fidgety, often loud librarian. Not surprisingly, Josh is a total book nerd (with a deep affection for Stephen King), but he is also an oddly funny, faith-questioning Mormon and power-lifting strongman competitor. With humor and depth, and without any whininess, Josh shares how he has tackled a life full of challenges. You’ll likely find
it easy to laugh with Josh, to root for him and to celebrate his victories.
