Elmo, Cookie Monster, Abby Cadabby, Oscar the Grouch and Grover are just a few of the Muppets descending on Pullman this weekend for “Sesame Street Live.”

The Muppets will sing and dance their way through lessons on healthy habits. Like the PBS show, the message is aimed at 2- to 6-year-olds but offers sophisticated dialogue, staging and costumes.

Parents and grandparents who grew up watching the show will have a chance to see characters from their childhood, like Prairie Dawn, who rarely appear on TV today.

Shows are at 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, and at 1 and 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28 at Beasley Coliseum. Cost is $55 for VIP “sunny” seats and preshow meet and greet with the characters. Other seats range from $15-$25. Tickets can be purchased at the coliseum ticket office, online at www.ticketswest.com or by calling (800) 325-SEAT.
