The Muppets will sing and dance their way through lessons on healthy habits. Like the PBS show, the message is aimed at 2- to 6-year-olds but offers sophisticated dialogue, staging and costumes.
Parents and grandparents who grew up watching the show will have a chance to see characters from their childhood, like Prairie Dawn, who rarely appear on TV today.
Shows are at 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, and at 1 and 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28 at Beasley Coliseum. Cost is $55 for VIP sunny seats and preshow meet and greet with the characters. Other seats range from $15-$25. Tickets can be purchased at the coliseum ticket office, online at www.ticketswest.com or by calling (800) 325-SEAT.
