Area libraries offer a wide range of programs and activities for kids

Reading isn’t the only fun to be found in local libraries, and that only becomes more true in the summer months.

The music-themed “Libraries Rock” national summer reading program will bring more music to area libraries along with the usual rewards for signing up for summer reading programs. Many libraries offer prizes ranging from free books, gift cards and 3D printer access, to a Fender acoustic guitar, the teen grand prize at the Lewiston City Library.
