Reception for exhibit by local artist Rachel Jameton: Miniatures are models of the world that we want to inhabit but can only aspire to in real life. Here, height, hidden spaces, natural materials and scale inspire suggestions for ways to reconsider our daily struggles. Imagine yourself climbing each ladder to attain perspective, peace, comfort, creativity and rest. Reception is 5-8 p.m. Aug. 2.
