‘American Idol’ Zoom auditions Monday for Idaho residents

Idaho residents who meet criteria laid out by “American Idol” can audition for the show Monday, Aug. 21, online.

Contestants must be born between June 2, 1994, and Feb. 15, 2009, according to the show’s website.

Hopefuls from designated states can sign up for the open call Zoom auditions at americanidol.com/auditions for a chance to try out in front of producers and receive real-time feedback, according to a news release from ABC Entertainment.

The singing competition television series first aired on Fox in 2002 and returned to the airwaves in 2018, on ABC, after a two-year hiatus.
