Celebration of Life and Remembrance for Our Animal Companions

This community-wide event to support those who have lost an animal companion provides a warm and supportive atmosphere for grieving and saying goodbye. It includes live music and refreshments and is open to anyone who has lost an animal companion, either as part of their family or as a part of a veterinary health care team. Participants will be offered a ribbon on which they can write their pet’s name and tie it onto a garland, which will be hung at the WSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital’s memorial garden following the event. Presented by the College of Veterinary Medicine. Participants are encouraged to arrive at 10 a.m. to complete their ribbons. The ceremony will begin at 10:30. A social gathering and sharing of stories will begin after the ceremony. RSVP: bit.ly/WSUpetremembrance.
