“We’re Still HERe,” an exhibition this weekend at Genesee’s Little Pink House Gallery, features works in paint, clay, wood and pencil by women from the Palouse area.
The show is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at 157 N. Elm St. in Genesee, with private appointments available next week. It’s dedicated to women artists, including friends and colleagues of artist and Little Pink House Gallery owner and curator Ellen Vieth, according to a gallery news release.
“The reality is, women are being diminished,” Vieth said. “In the arts, women have had a long and difficult history, but here we are in 2025, still needing to fight as a gender for fairness, recognition and opportunity.
“Now is a time we need to make a little more noise if we don’t want to be erased.”
Joining Vieth for the show are Jean Arnold, Jill Birschbach, Ann Christensen, Annie Coe, Rachael Eastman, Katy Fox, Jeanne Fulfs, Kelsey Grafton, Amanda Harlow, Blake Liliane Hellman, Stacy Isenbarger, Mary Carol Kenney, Jill Kyong, Chris Lynch, Lauren McCleary, Mary Montgomery and Colleen Taugher.
