Evergreen Fields

KEITH COLLINS
Washington is known as the Evergreen State for its forests of deep green fir and pine trees. It could just as well be known for its verdant hills of winter wheat on the Palouse. This picture was taken December 8, 2023, on the Bill Chipman Palouse Trail about halfway between Pullman and Moscow with the sun and clouds playing tag above these hills resplendent with fresh green rows of wheat.
