Emily Ruskovich’s novel, “Idaho,” is 2018’s Everybody Reads selection. The author is scheduled to appear Nov. 5-8 at events around the Palouse and Lewiston-Clarkston Valley.
Ruskovich’s highly acclaimed novel recently was selected as Idaho’s Book of the Year and awarded a Pacific Northwest Book award. It has been described as “a beautifully written murder mystery” and “a powerful psychological drama set against the stunning landscapes of Idaho.” Ruskovich grew up in the Idaho Panhandle. A graduate of the Iowa Writers' Workshop, she currently teaches creative writing at Boise State University. She lives in Idaho City with her husband and daughter.
Everybody Reads is sponsored by area libraries and bookstores and encourages residents from across the region to read the featured title, discuss it with others and attend an author event. Copies of “Idaho” are available at local libraries and bookstores.
