Idaho Humanities Council honors Rodney Frey

Rodney Frey, professor emeritus of ethnography at the University of Idaho, received the Outstanding Achievement in the Humanities award from the Idaho Humanities Council Aug. 1 in Moscow. The award recognizes a high achievement that fosters greater understanding of the humanities. It was presented by Shelley McEuen Howard, of Twin Falls, chair of the IHC board of directors. Frey teaches and writes about storytelling and traditional cultures of Native American communities in the Northwest.
