Indigenous Peoples’ Day

Presented by Lewis-Clark State College’s Native American, Minority & Veterans Services and the Native American Club:
Kicking off the celebration will be an Indian taco sale in front of the Student Union Building/Center for Student Leadership (by Dok’s Coffee Shop) from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. An Indian taco and drink will cost $7 and fry bread will cost $3.
From 3-4:15 p.m. a discussion about the importance of place names and the Nez Perce Language Signage Project at LC State will take place in Sacajawea Hall, Room 115. Nez Perce language faculty members Harold Cook, Angel Sobotta and Thomas Tátlo Gregory will be speaking at the discussion.
