Reader Steve Ewert, of Troy, painted this winning entry that appeared on our cover in March.

Inland 360’s annual cover contest is underway, which means we’re looking forward to seeing paintings, drawings, digital art, photographs and collages submitted by our readers.

Email a high-resolution image of your entry by Feb. 1 to contests@inland360.com with “cover contest” in the subject line; submit it in person at the Lewiston Tribune office, 505 Capital St.; or mail it (please don’t fold your artwork) to Inland 360, P.O. Box 1387, Lewiston, ID 83501.

Past winners have included area scenery and wildlife, abstract images and seasonal designs in all manner of media, by artists ranging in age from single digits to senior citizens.

Not every entry announced as a winner will necessarily appear in print, but every winner will be acknowledged when the results are announced.

Here are the rules:
  • Work must be original. The Inland 360 logo will be placed somewhere in the design if you don’t include it.

  • Don’t include your signature on the artwork — we give all artists attribution.

  • Dimensions are 10.5 inches wide by 12.5 inches high. This is important so we don’t have to crop your artwork to fit on the cover.

  • Indicate how you’ve created the image, such as watercolor or acrylic paint, digital art, or pen and ink.

  • Include your name, address, email and phone number so we can contact you and credit you for your work.

Email editor Mary Stone at mstone@inland360.com if you have questions about the contest.

Thank you in advance for sharing your talents — we can’t wait to see what you create.
