This Mountain Lady Slipper was photographed at Idler's Rest Nature Preserve on June 14th on the left side of the Universal Access trail. I find it to be the Queen of the Wildflowers and feel that no other flower equals it's beauty. It is elusive as it usually doesn't bloom in the same place every year.
