Palouse Choral Society opens its 25th anniversary season with a concert centered on the absence of sound — the moments between the notes and the idea that seeking out calm spaces is how we heal and recharge from the chaos swirling around us.
The repertoire will include the world premiere of the winner of the society's third annual composition contest: “Bugtong-Bugtong,” by Ian Gabriel Corpuz, a Filipino composer, conductor, and music educator. We are excited to share his vibrant piece for you, the first audience ever to hear it.
