"I spent my childhood in the Pacific Northwest, nature was just there. Everywhere. Across the street from my house, past the sidewalk, and the undeveloped lots meant for houses that were never built, was the forest. I was in it everyday. My childhood was magic. The woods were wonderful and terrifying. So, that's what I want to show here. Whatever emotional response you might have to my work is yours; I'm not trying to say anything. I only want to put out my own sense of the world I have known so far."
