Moms Going Ironman

Shelly Ruspakka
Julie Sawyer, Sarah Roberts, and Cat Harner are participating in Couer D'Alene's 70.3 Ironman next month, which consists of a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, and 13.1 mile run. All three are on the Ironman for Anna team, which, through their fund raising efforts, raises money for the Anna Schindler Foundation, benefitting children and their families that are battling childhood cancer. Thomas Harner, pictured on the sign, lost his lifelong battle to Leukemia at the age of 2 years and 4 months and the ASF helped throughout his entire journey. In 2021, 58 families heard the words “your child has cancer” in the Inland Northwest.
