Moscow Contemporary, or MosCo, is proud to announce its grand opening in the Palouse Place Mall, between the Ross entrance to the west, and phone companies to the east. Look for the green MosCo logo sign over the door. You can also use the Ross entrance and turn to the right to enter from the mall.
The gallery, formerly downtown, continues to reach out to new and different audiences. The mall space makes important contemporary art experiences accessible to everyone.
The space opens with an exhibit by award-winning Spokane artist Reinaldo Gil Zambrano. Originally from Venezuela, his graphic block prints are the perfect work to introduce the new space.
Opening festivities include:
Thursday, Oct. 17, 5 p.m. Ribbon Cutting and Space Cleansing with the Moscow Chamber of Commerce, Standing Red Bear and soundbath by Nara Woodland.
Friday, Oct. 18, 6-9 p.m. Come experience the Grand Opening Celebration and reception for artist Reinaldo Gil Zambrano, with art, games, raffles, music, snacks and drinks.
Saturday, Oct. 19, 11 a.m. Artist Talk with Reinaldo Gil Zambrano in the gallery.
