An osprey family has tended a nest for months and with success. Three rambunctious and hungry chicks await the return of the father with fish while the mother remains ever vigilant. Photo taken on Aug. 5, 2018, by Nan Vance on Silcott Island on Lower Granite Lake west of Clarkston, Wa.
