A lazy float down the Clearwater River, a parade honoring veterans, free live music and a professional fireworks show will light up the Clearwater River for Orofino's All American Fourth of July Celebration.
The Community Float starts at 10 a.m. A Rotary barbeque fundraiser is at 4 p.m. in the City Park.
The parade honoring veterans begins at 5:30 p.m. at the V.F.W building and ends at the City Park with a performance of the National Anthem.
Music by area bands at the park starts at 4 p.m. with Get Back offering '60s classic rock. There will be a beer garden for those 21 and up.
At 5 p.m. Uncalled Four takes the stage. The cover band formed in 2006 in the Spokane area and plays styles from the '60s to today's top hits including pop, country, rock, funk, blues and more. The group is fronted by Brett Malone who recently relocated to the Orofino area and does lead vocals, guitar, keys and plays the bagpipes. Rounding out the group is drummer Johnny Stix, Mike Rishor on lead guitar, George Conover on bass, and Graham Banks, keyboardist. The group will play from 5-7 at the park and 10 p.m. to midnight July 6 at Lapwai Days where it opens for Too Slim and the Taildraggers.
Finishing up the night of live music is the band Beargrass with classic country starting at 7 p.m.
The fireworks show starts at 10:10 p.m.
