Parlor Talk: "Exploring Spiritualism"

Join Latah County Historical Society for the final Parlor Talk in conjunction with the “Those Wacky Victorians: Early 1800s Hobbies” exhibit where we will explore spiritualism. Curious why the Victorians were obsessed with the macabre? Learn all about art made of human hair, séances, crystal gazing and the spookier side of late 1800s hobbies. Guests are encouraged, but not required, to come dressed in their best Victorian era garb. Please note: No actual séances will be conducted. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with the program beginning at 6. Light refreshments will be provided.
Nov. 1 will be the last day to view “Those Wacky Victorians." The mansion is open for regular tour hours 1-4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and some Saturdays.
