Taiko Japanese drum concert

Featuring the world renowned taiko artist Takumi Kato and his three children for a family friendly, unforgettable percussion event. Mr. Kato has performed for the Emperor and Empress of Japan, Prime Minister of Japan, international world leaders and more. He and his family moved to the U.S. for five years to promote world peace through cultural exchange and appreciation for the Japanese traditional taiko drumming. Donations accepted. Presented by University of Idaho Lionel Hampton School of Music, Habib Institute for Asian Studies and the School of Global Studies.
