The Regal Train Bridge

This Bridge probably has more memories attached to it than any bridge in the area. This bridge is a favorite of anglers far and wide, fishing for steel head and salmon in the fall and bass and trout in the spring and summer. You'll find many anglers trolling under the bridge and singing or yelling to echo their voices,... and others anchored to the bridge fishing for steelhead at the pillars of the bridge. If bridges could talk, this one would have a billion stories to tell!! I know I have many many I could tell, this has to be my favorite spot in the valley.... I was hoping for better angles, but I had to stop quickly and grab some pics of that burst of color in the sky before it changed! It's a different but neat take with the duck pond in the pic, reflecting all of that energy at the days end. <3 Taken off of the bypass road, on main st in Lewiston. Taken last week... 3/1

Image: Bethany Memorial Chapel is located at the top of the Kendrick grade. Take the first left hand turn at the marker for the church. The church was used for worship and Sunday School from 1906 until 1966 when it closed for lack of attendance. The setting is beautiful, the cemetery is well kept and the church is in good condition for its age.. I hope to return later in the spring.
