The theme for this year’s contest is “Why Does Voting Matter?” Participants can use any of a wide range of media, including crayons, colored pencils, markers, pastels, paints, clay, digital media and photography to create their entry. Full rules are at bit.ly/LWVcompetition.
Students can win $50 to spend at local businesses and a copy of the League of Women Voters’ civics textbook “The State We’re In: Washington.”
Winners will be announced April 12, and an artists’ reception is set for 2 p.m. April 20 at the Neill Public Library in Pullman.
