Singer-songwriter Eric Hutchinson will make his way to Moscow as the headliner for University of Idaho’s 2013 Palousafest.Known for his hits “Rock and Roll” and “OK, It’s Alright with Me,” Hutchinson’s album “Sounds Like This” debuted as No. 1 on the Billboard charts when it was released in 2007.
Palousafest has previously brought bands, such as We The Kings and We Are Scientists.
This year, an undetermined local act will open for Hutchinson at 7 p.m.
The free concert will take place at 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24 on the UI Tower Lawn following a 5:30 p.m. Sixth Street fair, sponsored by the Department of Student Involvement. The fair will feature booths from local and campus organizations.
