KOOSKIA — The 19th annual Old-Fashioned Christmas Variety Show will begin at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 18 and 19 at the Old Opera House Theatre here.

Dec. 19

LEWISTON — A Holiday Bazaar will be from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Clearwater River Casino.

The casino is at 17500 Nez Perce Road, east of Lewiston along U.S. Highway 12/95.

CLARKSTON — The Nightmare Before Christmas, billed as “a holiday music festival for those who like to rock,” will be Dec. 19 at the Clarkston Heights Grange Hall here.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. at the venue, 2202 Reservoir Road.

Bands scheduled for the all-ages show are Straight to Our Enemies, Rise & Shine, Deafto, Ghost Heart, Crisis Neglect, Charcoal Squids, D.A.B., Dan Sugden and Jack’s Smirking Revenge.

Cost is $8 in advance and $10 the day of the show. Tickets may be purchased through band members or online at www.monumentalshows.com.

Dec. 19

SPALDING — The final presentation in the monthly series marking the 50th anniversary of the Nez Perce National Historical Park’s establishment will be given at 1 p.m. Dec. 19 in the park visitor center here. The speaker will be Tami DeGrosky, park superintendent.

DeGrosky will present a photographic history of the park including past and present employees, the legislative enactment in 1965 and 1992 expansion, the park’s history of engagement with tribal governments and current park developments. She will also address the centennial observance of the National Park Service.

The visitor center is 12 miles east of Lewiston at 39063 U.S. Highway 95.

Dec. 19

COLFAX — Christmas High Tea will be served at 1 p.m. Dec. 19 in the Center, the annex to the Whitman County Library here, 102 S. Main St.

The Colfax Chamber of Commerce will be host for the tea, which includes a sampling of teas and traditional delicate finger foods served on fine china and linens.

Dec. 22

MOSCOW — Lynnsean Young of Moscow will play piano from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Dec. 22 in the Moscow Food Co-op deli here.

The free performance is part of the co-op’s Tuesday Night Music Series. The co-op is at 121 E. Fifth St.

Dec. 23

LEWISTON — The Erik Bowen Trio will play original jazz from 6-9 p.m. Dec. 23 at Lindsay Creek Vineyards here, 3107 Powers Ave.

The concert is free, and refreshments will be available for purchase.
