Memorabilia and photographs connected to Lewis-Clark State College are being collected from the community for a fall exhibit at the LCSC Center for Arts & History.
“Town & Gown” will examine the relationship the college has fostered with the Lewiston-Clarkston community over its 125-year history. Items are being collected through the end of July and can be brought to the center for consideration during office hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays, or photos of memorabilia items can be emailed to cah@lcsc.edu.The exhibit will focus on the roles community members have played in support of LCSC through patronage, support of athletic and artistic events, scholarships for students and political support during tumultuous state funding cycles, according to a news release.
The center received a $2,500 grant from the Idaho Humanities Council to create the exhibit, which will be on display Sept. 6 through Oct. 27 at the center.
