Barns around the region are the focus of a calendar that raises money for the Whitman County Library system.
Calendars inspired by regional scenes are available from two local nonprofit groups.
The Barns of Whitman County 2019 calendar features regional barns and seasonal backdrops from a variety of local photographers. Calendars are $10 and available at any branch of Whitman County Library, Tick Klock Drug and Rosauers in Colfax and the Pullman Chamber of Commerce. The calendars sell out each year so residents are encouraged to buy them early. Proceeds benefit Friends of the Library programs for the Whitman County Library system.The Nez Perce County Historical Society 2019 Historical Calendar is also available.
This is the 38th edition of the calendar, which features scenes from the society’s archives. Calendars are $10, plus tax, and available at the society’s museum and both A&B Foods locations in Lewiston, and at And Books Too and Schurman’s True Value Hardware in Clarkston. Proceeds benefit the society and museum.
