If you’ve ever dreamed of making a movie, but don’t know how, the Lewis-Clark State College Center for Arts & History is offering three workshops Monday, Sept. 8 with “Add the Words” filmmakers Michael Gough and Cammie Pavesic and lighting designer Dan Allers in preparation for a 48 Hour Film Festival to be held in Lewiston in 2015.
The schedule for Sept. 8:
-10 a.m. — Blending, the Art of Lighting for Film, TV and Stage by Dan Allers: A compare and contrast of lighting and how to blend for live TV filming and stage.
-3 p.m. — Documentary Film Making: Using “Add the Words” as an example of making a film start to finish in less than four months, filmmakers will discuss the process from equipment acquisition to festival submissions.
Public registration is $20 per workshop or $50 for all three and free to LCSC students with ID. Registration is available by calling (208) 792-2243.
