If you’re between the ages of 18 and 28 you fit the bill for a role as an extra in the movie “Admissions” being filmed at Washington State University.About 250 extras are needed to play college students in a scene being shot Tuesday, Aug. 7 on campus. The extras will be filmed running out of a dorm and down several sidewalks, said Marc Dahlstrom, the movie’s line producer.

“Admissions” is a romance starring Andy Garcia and Vera Farmiga. It’s about two adults taking their kids on a college admissions tour when they unexpectedly find love. A film crew from Spokane-based North by Northwest Productions is shooting footage on campus this week.
Most of the film is being shot outside on the older part of campus, according to a story in the Lewiston Tribune. On Monday film crews from North By Northwest Productions in Spokane were working around the Entrance Arch; Honors, Murrow and Bryan halls; Thompson Hall; and the walkways between them. Planned renovation at the Hillside Cafe on campus was put off so the location could be used for the movie.
