Everyday of the week the glass case at Daily’s Bakery in Clarkston is a tempting parade of fresh doughnuts, muffins and cinnamon rolls.

Beyond tantalizing treats and coffees the eatery specializes in breakfast and lunch with a variety of sandwiches, wraps, salads and paninis.

A hearty breakfast might include a serving of Breakfast Casserole ($6) made with egg, cheese, sour cream, red onion, broccoli, red bell pepper and sausage. Healthy choices include Steel Cut Oats ($4) or Toast & Avacado ($3). Daily’s also makes its own Biscuits & Gravy ($5.50 full/$4 half).

Wraps are served on a variety of tortillas. They include the Hawaiian with ham, pineapple, lettuce, cheddar and cream cheese ($7.25); and Chicken Caesar. Paninis are grilled on Daily’s focaccia bread ($8.25 full/$6.25 half). An Italian includes salami, pastrami, pesto sauce, havarti cheese, red onion, tomato and black olive.

Soups shift daily through 12 varieties, including Italian Wedding, Loaded Baked Potato and Chicken Dumpling ($3.25 cup/$5.25 bowl).

Daily’s keeps children in mind with a kids menu of sandwiches ($4-$5) accompanied by chips, cookie and a bottle of water.
