The area’s stages are decked with holiday classics old and new. Here’s a quick look at some seasonal live entertainment.

“A Christmas Carol” Tonight through Dec. 11 Hartung Theatre, Moscow

Feeling bah-humbug about the holidays? The University of Idaho Theatre Arts’ annual production of the classic that made the attitude famous opens tonight and features puppets in its more magical moments.

“It’s A Wonderful, White Christmas Story: A Musical Revue” Tonight through Dec. 10 Clarkston High School Auditorium

The Clarkston High School and Lewiston High School drama departments are doing a first-ever Christmas show collaboration. “It’s A Wonderful, White Christmas Story: A Musical Revue” is an original mashup of classic Christmas movies including “Elf,” “A Christmas Story,” “White Christmas” and more.

"Nuncrackers, the Nunsense Christmas Musical," is being performed by the Pullman Civic Theatre.

“Nuncrackers, the Nunsense Christmas Musical” Friday through Dec. 18 Nye Street Theatre, Pullman

The Pullman Civic Theatre comedy features a group of sisters taping a holiday TV special for Cable Access in their convent basement. Songs include “Santa Ain’t Comin’ to Our House” and “Twelve Days Prior to Christmas.”
